Marsman Drysdale Medical Products, Inc. (MDMPI) began in 1990 as the Medical Products Division of Marsman Drysdale Corporation, serving as the exclusive distributor of Coulter Electronics HK Ltd. As Coulter re-entered the local market for advanced diagnostic instruments in Hematology, Flow Cytometry, Immunology, and Particle Characterization, MDMPI played a key role in its expansion. By 1994, the company secured distribution rights for Instrumentation Laboratory (IL) of Spain, offering Blood Gas Analyzers, Coagulometers, Electrolyte Analyzers, and Flame Photometer systems. In 1999, after Beckman Instruments Inc. merged with Coulter Corporation, MDMPI became the trusted local distributor for Beckman Coulter Inc., providing nearly 80% of routine tests required in Clinical Pathology Laboratories.

To support its growing role in the healthcare industry, MDMPI became an independent entity in December 1999, solidifying its commitment to innovation and service excellence. What began with just three employees has now expanded into a team of over 70 professionals, including Product Application Specialists, Biomedical Engineers, and Technical Sales Representatives, all extensively trained to provide expert solutions. The company has since expanded its portfolio to encompass Hematology, Immunology, Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Integrated Immunochemistry, Coagulation, Urine Analysis, Microbiology, Flow Cytometry, Blood Gas Analysis, Automation, Quality Management Solutions, and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).

With nearly 30 years of experience, MDMPI has established itself as a leading provider of in-vitro (IVD) diagnostic products and services in the Philippines. MDMPI continues to drive advancements in the healthcare industry by delivering world-class diagnostic solutions that enhance laboratory efficiency and patient care.
